Senior ADVICE
saying Goodbye.
To the staff who helps publish our literary magazine every year, The Muse is more than just a class. It's an escape from the stress of school, the expectations of society, and a way for us to find others who enjoy the arts as much as we do. In the hours we spend building our magazine from the ground up, blasting music in our work room, having spontaneous donut parties, and laughing our heads off--we become a family; a group of extraordinary misfits who found their place in life's puzzle piece. Thus, every year when we have to say goodbye to some of our own, it not only breaks our hearts, but leaves an empty space in The Muse. At the end of the day, we'll never forget our family.
To all our seniors: good luck in college! We love you and will miss you!

DEAR ABBI #1: College EssaysNeed help in writing your college essays? Abbi Page was our senior copy editor and lit mag member for three years; she found her passion in writing and uses her, quote, "narcissistic" (and hilarious!) nature to aid those in need of help in writing their college essays. We all find it hard writing about ourself; read Abbi's method in how to construct the perfect "about me" essay-- one that helped her get into Brown University.

In a reflective piece, Kristen writes to the underclassman body in order to tell them everything she wished she knew when she was once a freshman too, in order to help them through the college and high school identity process. Life is hard if you try to navigate it yourself; read her article below to figure how she made it through to become the person she is today.
