8th Grade Competition Winners
A Letter to the readers
During the months of February and March, we reached out to Northview's feeder school hoping to receive submissions from the class of 2023. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of interest we received for this competition and blown away with the amount of potential and talent portrayed by the 8th grade students.
Part of what we do as staff on the literary magazine is selectively choose art and writing we deem to be truly creative and special for our website. Thus, we do not feature everyone's work, and instead, select what we see as the best work. We hope this does not discourage, but instead inspires all artists and writers to push your creative boundaries. In selecting pieces to feature, we consider effort, originality, creativity, and skill. For those 8th graders who were not featured this time, know that we valued and enjoyed all the submissions, and look forward to all of you taking part in further lit mag projects.
Thank you for loving art, writing, and music as much as we do. We are so excited to welcome you to Northview next year!
